People with limited mobility can join special docent-led tour of battleship


GRF BUS TRIP The Recreation Department will conduct a GRF bus trip to tour the Battleship Iowa on Thursday, Nov. 7. After the tour, attendees will enjoy lunch at 22nd Street Landing with a view of the Cabrillo Marina. People are invited to join this insider’s tour of the Harbor area of San Pedro. Tickets are $90 per person, which includes the docent-guided tour of the Iowa, choice of lunch

The LW Community Emergency Response Team (LW CERT)’s holiday safety class is postponed to Friday, Nov. 22, at 9 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. President Catherine O’Brien will go over practical ways to keep safe and accident free over the holidays. LW CERT’s free, FEMA informed safety classes are 45 minutes long, and all residents are welcome.
