There are two dance classes every Saturday morning in Clubhouse 6 (second floor). For November the classes are salsa at 9 a.m., followed by merengue at 10 a.m. Each class is $7 per person. On Nov. 29, Black Friday, the Friends of the Library Bookstore will be open from 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. with usual hours on Saturday from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Holiday donations are needed and appreciated as well as patronage of the store. Proceeds support the LW Library and frequent shoppers often find the best treasures.

People interested in learning more about space, celestial bodies and how the universe works are invited to join free lectures taught by LWer and retired physics teacher Jim Johns on Fridays at 10 a.m. via Zoom. LEISURE TIME DANCERS The Leisure Time Dancers hold classes on Mondays in the dance studio, upstairs in Clubhouse 6. Beginners are welcome. Foxtrot will be the new dance at 2 p.m., followed by a continuation of salsa at 3. No partner is necessary. The class will rotate so everyone dances. A review of the basics is included.
