The Sunday bingo games crowd in Leisure World is ex panding every week. New players are always showing up and joining the fun Clubhouse 2 at 1 p.m. These are the winners of the last bingo games of the year on Dec. 29. All residents are welcome to join the fun, meet new friends and learn how to shout “bingo!”
Paws, Claws and Beaks Club will change meeting formatting
The Paws, Claws and Beaks Club is making a change for LW pet lovers.

LW Community Emergency Response Team
The LW Community Emergency Response Team (LW CERT) will meet for the first safety class of the year, titled “Create Your Family Communication Plan” on Friday, Jan. 24, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, starting at 9 a.m. Residents are encouraged to join to hear LW CERT President Catherine O’Brien explain the process of creating a family communication plan in case of an emergency. The Rainbow Community in Leisure World is a community of residents and allies celebrating and sharing the LGBTQIA+ experience. It seeks to create a safe space for connecting with others, sharing stories, and building meaningful relationships in a relaxed setting.

SUNSHINE CLUB
Climate activist Ashley Craig will speak to the Sunshine Club on Friday, Jan. 16, at 10 a.m., in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.
Craig is a lifelong climate activist and a self-proclaimed plastic bag. Craig spent her 30year professional career working for several big companies in finance and audit, with a brief stint in environmental policy. She serves on the board of Upstream Solutions
