Cribbage Club lunch is Dec. 23


The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1. Refreshments are served each week, and anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. Yearly dues are $5 and each player pays $1 to play. Those finishing in the top four scores will be awarded prize money the following week. Tournament Poker Club’s next tournament is Jan. 3


Those who would like to play a fun and friendly game of Texas Hold ‘Em with the Tournament Poker Club for a $5 buy-in should make plans to play at the next tournament on Saturday, Jan. 3. Regular tournaments are held on the first three Saturdays of every month and start at 10 a.m. with coffee/treats and registration. Cards are in the air at 10:30. The LW Chess Club meets every Friday in Clubhouse 3, Room 7, from 1-4:30 p.m. Beginners lessons are available. Keep Alzheimer’s and dementia at bay by practicing this strategy game, proven to improve short and long-term memory and critical thinking skills. People are encouraged to bring a friend. Bunco is an easy and fun dice game where players try to score the most points. The Monday Night Bunco Club plays on second and fourth Mondays every month in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 6 p.m. sharp.
