Leisure World’s Redeemer Lutheran and St. Theodore of Canterbury Episcopal churches will host an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift drive in the community for Samaritan’s Purse from Nov. 13-17. Once the box is filled, turn it in to Redeemer Lutheran at 13565 St. Andrews Drive Nov. 13-17. The congregation will turn in boxes for distribution after Nov. 17. Monetary donations are also accepted.

The American Legion Unit 327 has been asked by American Legion District 29’s President Cindy Eades to host the November District meeting in Leisure World. Representatives from all 16 units in Orange County will present their programs on what they have done to serve veterans and their families.
