WINE LOVERS CLUB The Leisure World Wine Lovers Club is holding an uplifting memorial tribute to the Leisure World legend Hank “Mr. Hank” Barto in lieu of its regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 3, in Clubhouse 4 from 5-7 p.m. Barto, who recently passed away, has been a resident and realtor in Leisure World for over 30 years but is best known for sharing his musical talents with the community.

Multi-club, multi-disciplinary Art League meeting a success


The Art League met Jan. 14 in Clubhouse 4. It was a special meeting as several other art clubs attended, including Clay Crafters, Ceramics, Lapidary, Photo Arts and more. Artists and artisans brought a sample of their art pieces for display. Vice President Ramayana (RB) Baba presided over the meeting and exchanged ideas with the attendees. There was also a raffle which was won by Marion Higgins.
