Karaoke folks were pleased to welcome the return of Janice Chapman on April 9. She has a voice of an angel. Shannon Harrison whipped up the crowd singing “Louie Louie.” Sandy Hyman engaged the audience with “You Belong to Me. Walter and Sue Piippo do great harmonizing their tunes. Donald Horning relaxed everyone with “Nice ‘N’ Easy.” “Unchained Melody” was captured by Anna Lam.

Silversmithing Class: April 22


The Lapidary and Jewelry Club will hold a four-week introduction to silversmithing class, beginning April 22. Signup sheets are available in the Lapidary Room in Clubhouse 4. Fabrication of sterling silver jewelry involves forming and soldering of sterling silver. This class will involve soldering 40-42 sterling wire rings, forming them into various shapes and constucting a necklace. In

GENEALOGY CLUB All residents are invited to the general meeting of the LW Genealogy Club on April 23 at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. Gong Club Jazz Show: April 25


The Gong Club will hold a show on Friday, April 25, at 7 p.m. in Clubhouse 2, otherwise known as the “Crimson Lounge.” Residents will have an opportunity to see another side of musician Richie Freedman of the Velvetones. He and his six-piece jazz band will be joined by his wife, Laura, who will perform vocals. The Gong Club will serve light snacks and coffee. Guests can bring their own spirits
