The Coconut Breeze Club will host a spring fling dance featuring music by the Coconut Breeze Band and guest artists on Friday, March 27, in Clubhouse 4 from 6-9 p.m. The dance will feature a “do the twist” contest. CDS FOR SENIORS CLUB CDs for Seniors Club member Barbara Sutterfield (r) was thrilled when her husband, Carl (l), won a ticket to a performance of "Hairspray" at The GEM Theater in Garden Grove. Carl was able to procure an adjacent seat for Barbara, making the show even more enjoyable for both of them.

LW WOMANS CLUB On March 3, the LW Womans Club enjoyed an afternoon of laughing, dancing and enjoying coffee and pastries. Entertainment was provided by Jennifer Kersey, a singer of a variety of genres, including Broadway hits from the '50s-'70s. Each month, members feel the joy of giving to local aid organizations. Wa-Rite is afemale-onlyclub that meets on Friday mornings from 9 -10 in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. Weigh-ins are from 8-8:45. Dues are $ 10 a year, plus 10 cents upon signing in. LW ID cards must be shown. For support on a weight-loss journey, women are welcome to stop by at 8:15 to weigh in and complete the registration paperwork. On Feb. 27, members learned that the club lost 15 pounds in the past

The Club meets on Thursdays in Clubhouse 2 from 10 a.m.-noon. Albert Comia leads the first hour of the class with easy dances for beginners. After a brief break, Karen Kei teaches more advanced dances, andintroduces a new line dance every month. In March, it is “Kiss Me.” Everyone is welcome to) oin. People must be members of the club and sign in with their name, and Mutual and unit number.

The meets on Wednesdays in Clubhouse 6 at 9 and 10:15 a.m., and on Tuesdays in Veterans Plaza (outdoors) at 10:15 a.m. Classes are taught by certified instructors. The cost of each class is $8. People are invited to learn how to lessen stiffness, improve flexibility and posture, and appear taller, leaner and more confident through yoga.
