The Golden Age Foundation’s (GAF) quarterly battery recycling program will return on Tuesday, July 15, from 10 a.m.noon in the parking lot of Clubhouse 2. GRF ID is required. The GAF will collect the following approved batteries for recycling: alkaline, carbon zinc, nickel cadmium, nickel metal-hydride, lithium ion, lithium metal, silver oxide, button cell batteries and all other dry cell batteries.

The Shuffleboard Club is winding down its spring league. In a first for the club, there were three leagues for members to play in during the season. Members are meeting to decide what kind of play is wanted for the summer. No organized leagues will be formed, but many players want to continue improving their skills and socializing with friends. The Coin Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 1 p.m. at Clubhouse 3, Room 2. Members can have coins viewed and questions answered. A business meeting begins at 1:30 p.m., followed by an education session on hobo nickels. Everyone is welcome.
