June 17 brought 39 women of the LW Women’s Golf Club to the golf course for the weekly tournament. Play for the day was low gross, low net and fewest putts. Yahtzee Club will play on July 4


The Yahtzee Club will meet July 4 in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby at 2 p.m. There will be a halftime social to interact with neighbors. The club meets the first, third and fifth Fridays of each month. Chess Club

Chess Club


The LW Chess Club meets every Friday in Clubhouse 3, Room 7, from 1-4:30 p.m. Beginners lessons are available. Keep Alzheimer’s and dementia at bay by practicing this strategy game, proven to improve short and long-term memory and critical thinking skills. Guys and Gals Golf Tournament

Guys and Gals Golf Tournament


Awarm morning greeted the players of the Guys and Gals Tournament on June 18. Thirty teams of one man and one woman, with varying golfing abilities, teed off starting at 7:30 a.m. at the 1,680yard par 54 Turtle Lake Golf Course. Each team competed for best net scores (gross score minus handicap), plus four circle holes (shots within a 5-foot radius rewarded), and two closest to the pin challenges.
