The LW Chess Club meets every Friday in Clubhouse 3, Room 7, from 1-4:30 p.m. Beginners lessons are available. Awarm morning greeted the players of the Guys and Gals Tournament on June 18. Thirty teams of one man and one woman, with varying golfing abilities, teed off starting at 7:30 a.m. at the 1,680yard par 54 Turtle Lake Golf Course. Each team competed for best net scores (gross score minus handicap), plus four circle holes (shots within a 5-foot radius rewarded), and two closest to the pin challenges.

The Women’s Pool Cue Club is a social club that offers the opportunity for women in Leisure World to connect with other women and make friends. Players are welcome to join even if they are beginners. SCAM STUDY Recently, a research team from Harvard University approached GRF for a study they have been conducting on email behaviors. LWSB has been identified as a particularly ideal demographic to participate in this project especially with the advent of artificial intelligence and its potential effect on seniors. Leading the study is Fred Heiding, PhD. Heiding is looking for at least
