Those who would like to play a fun and friendly game of Texas Hold ‘Em for a $5 buy-in should make plans to join the Tournament Poker Club at its tournament on Saturday, Aug. 16. The LW Chess Club meets every Friday in Clubhouse 3, Room 7, from 1-4:30 p.m. Beginners lessons are available. Keep Alzheimer’s and dementia at bay by practicing this strategy game, proven to improve short and long-term memory and critical thinking skills.
