Japanese American Club
Last year, the Nikkei Club changed its name to the Japanese American Club.
The Club will hold meetings every other month beginning in February.
Yearly membership of $10 are due. For more information, call Michie Kimura at 714-3171102.
Impaired Vision and Hearing Club
The Impaired Vision and Hearing Club will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 24, in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. President Juanita Townsend will call the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
The guest speaker will be Eloy Gomez, GRF Health and Safety Specialist. He is tasked with being sure all GRF buildings and public spaces are safe. Gomez will share how to handle an emergency in a clubhouse or on GRF property. He will
Hui O Hula
Both Keiko Kawamoto and Yoshiko Kishi are exceptional hula dancers and have been with Hui O Hula, the LW Hawaiian dance club, from the get-go. Not only do they share the same passion for hula dance, but they also have their birthdays in January.
Young Yo was trained in buyo, the Japanese classical dance. She joined clogging, line dance, and hula as soon as she and husband Roy moved into Leisure
