OC REGISTRAR For residents who prefer to vote in person, the Golden Rain Foundation, in conjunction with the Orange County Registrar of Voters, has arranged a one-day on-site Pop-Up Vote Center on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Clubhouse 6 parking lot. The center will be open between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. This option offers the following services without having to leave the community: • Voter registration.

Every Leisure World shareholder is encouraged to participate in this year’s ShakeOut by practicing the Drop, Cover and Holdon exercises today, Oct. 20, at 10:20 a.m. GRF staff will also participate in the drill, which will include practice evacuations of office buildings. The ShakeOut began in Southern California in 2008 as a drill designed to educate the public about how to protect themselves
