Jon Peter Gatyas 1937-2022 Jon Gatyas was born in Ossining, New York, in 1937. After graduating from high school,he joined the Air Force, serving in Florida and Greenland for four years. He then moved to Long Beach and worked at Arthur Murray’s Dance Studio as an instructor. He opened in his own dance studio in Long Beach, to the delight of many students over a period of 30 years.
