Save Our Beach conducts a monthly beach clean-up on the third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m.-noon at the beach parking lot at the end of 1st Street in Seal Beach. The next clean-up is Saturday, May 21. Parking in the 1st Street Beach lot is free during the cleanup. Check in at the blue canopy on the grass to receive a parking pass (required). Pre-registration will speed up the check-in process.

The Orange County Transportation Authority closed the northbound I-405 loop on-ramp from Seal Beach Boulevard to accommodate the freeway widening. The ramp is anticipated to reopen at the end of the month.

The Seal Beach Library, part of OC Public Libraries, will host a Senior Get-Together from 10-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, at Eisenhower Park, Ocean Avenue and Main Street in downtown Seal Beach.
