GRF Security has received reports of four car break-ins in the last couple of weeks. In some cases, people left their vehicles unlocked and in one case, a passenger window was smashed to gain entrance. Nothing of value was reported stolen. But since there have been a spate of theft reports, Security is advising residents to be especially careful and report suspicious activity by calling 562-594-4754.

On Sept. 16, a Mutual 6 resident left a pot of beans cooking on the stove and fell asleep. The unattended pot began to smoke heavily, drawing the attention of neighbors who alerted Security.
