In its usual fashion, the Shuffleboard Club is celebrating major holidays together, and Halloween is no exception. A potluck party gets off the ground at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, in Clubhouse 1. The room will be ghoulishly decorated, the food should be plentiful, centerpieces will be creative and given away and, most important of all, costumes are encouraged but not required. Bunco is an easy and fun dice game where players try to score the most points. The Monday Night Bunco Club plays on the second and fourth Mondays every month in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 6 p.m. sharp. Tournament Poker Club will play Nov. 1 in Clubhouse 6 at 10 a.m.


Those who would like to play a fun and friendly game of Texas Hold ‘Em for a $5 buy-in should make plans to join the Tournament Poker Club on Saturday, Nov. 1. Regular tournaments are held on the first three Saturdays of every month in the lobby of Clubhouse 6 with registration beginning at 10 a.m., along with treats and coffee. Table Tennis Club coach Alexander Heske competed in the Huntsman Senior World Championships in St. George, Utah, in early October. He earned wins for Men’s Singles 55-59, fourth place finish; Men’s Doubles 5559, third; and Special Event Main RR, second. Heske also won in the 2025 U.S. Nationals Over 55 Nonsanction Doubles Championship this summer, as well as the 2024 World Senior Men’s Singles
