LW Men’s Golf Club’s Bob Turner gets hole-in-one


A clear, sunny, and very wet morning greeted 50 players of the LW Men’s Golf Club on Oct. 22. The golfers teed off starting at 7:30 a.m. at the 1,680-yard par 54 Turtle Lake Golf Course. GRF’s first-ever Harvest Festival is Oct. 25


GRF’s free Harvest Festival is Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Community Gardens, 13101 Nassau Drive. The festival will feature live music by the Wimberley Bluegrass Band, along with a garden-wide scavenger hunt and lawn games for all ages. Residents can take part in a hands-on garden demonstration led by master gardener Susanna Kiely and plant a seedling to bring home. The
