EMERGENCY INFORMATION COUNCIL The Emergency Information Council will hold its first free vital document scanning event on Feb. 22 from 1-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 3. An emergency or disaster can erase the vital documents and records of a person’s life instantly if unprepared. Planning ahead means saving the basic information needed to endure a crisis and get lives back on track afterwards.

The LW Community Emergency Response Team ( LW CERT) will meet Friday, Feb. 23, at 9 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, for a safety class on earthquake preparation. LW CERT’s free monthly safety classes are 45 minutes long and all residents are welcome to join. Coffee and muffins are provided.
