The Velvetones Ballroom Dance Orchestra will perform in Clubhouse 4 on Sunday, April 21, at 6 p.m. Jeff Plum directs the orchestra—Leisure World’s own professional big band, playing big band swing and jazz standards. LW ART LEAGUE The LW Art League met April 9 in Clubhouse 4. The guest demonstration artist and judge was gallery owner, author and art teacher Bill Anderson of Sunset Beach. Anderson has painted in Europe, but Seal Beach is one of his favorite spots. His watercolor painting of the Seal Beach pier, featured in the SUN Newspapers, is one of his iconic paintings.
