WA-RITE Female residents who want to find support on their weight-loss journey and meet like-minded people are welcome to stop by one of the Wa-Rite meetings. The Wa-Rite is a women-only club and meets on Friday mornings from 9-10 in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. Weigh-ins are from 8-8:45. Dues are $10 a year, plus 10 cents upon signing in. Those dimes go to the person who lost the most weight that week.

The Dancing Feet Club meets on Mondays for line dance lessons and practice from 7-9 p.m., and every fourth Sunday for social (ballroom) and line dancing from 6-9:30 p.m. Both events are held in Clubhouse 2. SHUFFLEBOARD CLUB The LW Shuffleboard Club will add spirit to the summer hiatus by sponsoring one last July gathering on Wednesday, July 31, at 3 p.m. at the Courts Building. Everyone— new members, seasoned members, and anyone who is interested in learning shuffleboard— is invited to attend. The Saturday Social Bunco Club meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby. The next meeting will be Saturday, July 27. Sign-in begins at 1 p.m. and is $5. Those who would like to play a fun and friendly game of Texas Hold ‘Em for a $5 buy-in can join the Tournament Poker Club at the Saturday tournament on Aug. 4. Regular tournaments are on the first three Saturdays of every month in the lobby of Clubhouse 6. Registration begins at 10 a.m., along with treats and coffee. Cards are in the air at 10:30.
