Annie Karich, granddaughter of Leisure World GRF Director Nick Massetti was called up to play in the Women’s U20 World Cup Soccer tournament held in Costa Rica through Aug. 28. Having just reported to Santa Clara University as a freshman, she replaces a fellow Santa Clara player on the national team who was injured.
