GUYS AND GALS TOURNAMENT A bright winter morning greeted 55 golfers of the Guys and Gals Golf Tournament on Feb. 18 at the Turtle Lake Golf Course. The tournament was sponsored by Primary Care Associates of CA in Cypress, with Network Development Specialist Emanuel Alvarez paying for each player’s entry fee and providing coffee, doughnuts, candy and golf balls to the players. Cribbage Club

Cribbage Club


The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday in Clubhouse 1 at noon. Refreshments are served from noon-12:15, and anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. Each player pays $1 to play and those finishing in the top four scores are awarded prize money the following week. Yearly dues are $5, which are currently being collecting. Unattended grill sparks fire; burns patio roof in Mutual 15


FIRE SAFETY On Feb. 8 around 5:35 p.m., an unattended barbecue grill caught fire on a Mutual 15 patio, damaging a storage closet, nearby walls and the unit’s patio roof. Four fire engines reported to the scene and suppressed the fire. No injuries were reported. The owner of the barbecue uses it to grill steaks, according to a Security report.
