The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to making Leisure World a better place to live. The GAF must raise funds throughtout the year to continue providing services to the community. There are now two simple ways for LWers to donate to the GAF without any additional cost. The winners at the Aug. 13 meeting of the Yahtzee Club were Nancy Hayes (most yahtzees), Pat Wilson (highest total scores) and Kathy Rose (door prize). The Yahtzee Club meets on Fridays from 12:30-4 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 6. The cost to play is $2 per meeting, which goes toward seven prizes at the end of the game. Each member should bring a beverage in a spill-proof, clearly labeled container.
