SHUFFLEBOARD CLUB A large crowd of Shuffleboard Club members met on Jan. 8 to discuss the upcoming winter league and outline upcoming social events that include Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day potluck parties, the special LaCascia Tournament in June and an August picnic, making 2026 a customary year full of social events and fun activities geared for building friendships. LW MEN'S GOLF CLUB On Jan. 14, an all-hands LW Men’s Golf Club meeting was called to order by President Ron Steele. Financially the club is in excellent shape, and to date 49 golfers have paid their dues for 2026. The slate of officers for the 2026 calendar year was presented and approved with Steele, Bill Zurn and Byron Schweitzer remaining on as president, vice president and treasurer.
