Hands and Hearts United in Giving (HHUG) is a small, local nonprofit dedicated to helping the homeless in the community. HHUG accepts donations of clean used towels and new, unopened travel-size shampoo, soap, lotion and disposable razors. The only clothing accepted is new socks and new underwear for men and women. Mutual 12 will hold a luncheon on April 29 in Clubhouse 4 starting at noon. The luncheon will feature a country-western-style box lunch. Tickets may be purchased from residents’ building captains starting April 4 for $8 per resident and $16 per guest/caregiver.
