Respect Life Ministry of Holy ….


Respect Life Ministry of Holy Family facilitated a project to benefit the Santa Ana Life Cen ter. The group got together on Oct. 14, led by Becky Maffucci, to sew burp cloths and bibs for babies. The parish also received other donations. The group is grateful to participate of the Walking with Moms campaign to support Respect Life in the community.

The Christian Women's Fellowship and ….


The Christian Women's Fellowship and Bible Study Group will meet Monday, Nov. 14 and 28, in Clubhouse 3, Room 6, at 10 a.m. The group is studying and discussing chapters 23 and 24 in Elizabeth George's book "Loving God with all Your Mind." SEAL BEACH IS NO. 1 Sea breezes, pier walks, swaying palms and a peaceful pace are big draws to Seal Beach. Beach towns are always appealing, but many people are finding it impossible to afford real estate there. Leisure World is apparently an exception and because of that, it has garnered national attention as a hidden gem where residents pay comparatively reasonable costs for sun and surf.

PATHWAYS Pathways, a community service non-profit, offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for LW residents who would like to reach out and provide a connection for a neighbor in need. It’s a way to make someone’s life better and maybe even find new friends. An informational meeting for potential volunteers will be held Friday, Nov. 4, to review the program and different opportunities
