The AARP Tax-Aide Program sponsored by the Golden Age Foundation (GAF) begins Wednesday, Feb. 1, through Wednesday, April 12. IRS certified volunteers will prepare and e-file returns on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Appointments are required. People can call 562-596-1987 and leave their name and telephone number on the GAF answering machine. A volunteer will return the call to schedule

The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) is an independent nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to serving the residents of Leisure World. The GAF holds multiple free programs throughout the year to help LWers. Hospitality Center: The GAF sponsors the Hospitality Center in Clubhouse 6, Monday-Friday, from 9-11 a.m. Coffee and cookies are served to residents who drop by to socialize.
