Linda Smith took first place with a score of 846 out of a possible perfect score of 847. She was just one point away from receiving a star, which players receive for playing a perfect game. The Recreation Department is seeking woodworkers to be volunteer supervisors at the LW Woodshop. People must be able to devote a few hours on one or two Saturdays a month to enable residents who still work to take advantage of the woodshop. SEAL BEACH PROGRAM There are currently 1,205 users registered for the Senior Transportation Program, according to the City of Seal Beach. The program is available for Seal Beach residents ages 60 and older and consists of a pre-fixed shuttle route and Yellow Cab Taxi service.
