The Guys and Gals Tournament was played on July 20. Teams of various skilled golfers with one man and one woman vied for best net scores (gross score minus handicap), plus two circle holes (shots within a 5-foot radius are rewarded), and two closest to the pin challenges. Forty-seven members of the Women’s Golf Club participated in the weekly tournament held on July 19. On a beautiful sunny day, the group competed for low gross, low net and fewest putts. Amazingly, seven golfers tied for fewest putts, which is the highest number of golfers that have tied in recent club history.
