The Seal Beach Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for committing thefts inside the Leisure World community. On Sunday, Dec. 4, at about 1:49 a.m., an unknown male suspect stole a bicycle from the patio of a residence located within the Leisure World community located near 13533 Seal Beach Boulevard. The Rollin' Thunder Golf Cart Holiday Parade meandered down most of LW's main thoroughfares Dec. 10. Residents decorated their golf carts and lined up at Clubhouse 6 to start the annual event. Construction of the sound walls along North Gate Road is now complete. It is anticipated that crews will finish paving along the northwest wall and construct the monument for the Seal Beach Boulevard bridge this month. Additionally, crews concluded drilling operations for the foundation of a freeway sign near the southbound I-405 loop off-ramp to Seal Beach Boulevard. Drilling began Dec.
