The Leisure Time Dancers hold classes on Monday afternoons in the dance studio upstairs in Clubhouse 6. East Coast swing will be taught at 2 p.m. followed by a continuation of foxtrot at 3. The Coin Club will meet Oct. 8 at 1 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The club meets the second Wednesday of every month.Members can have coins viewed and questions answered. Time is allowed to view coins, followed by a business meeting and an education session. Everyone is welcome. Darleen Gardner shared that the club lost a total of 15 pounds in one week. The biggest loser was Joyce Brannon with a 4-pound loss. She credits her weight loss to eating out less often and by snacking on frozen grapes and cashews. Brannon has been trying to achieve a certain weight for years. Everyone was very proud and pleased for her. It was a sharing day for the club, so there was no speaker.
