Golden Age Foundation donates $124K for bus lifts


Leisure World residents with mobility challenges now have greater access to community transportation, thanks to a $124,000 donation from the Golden Age Foundation (GAF) that funded the installation of two new mechanized wheelchair lifts and the associated access equipment on GRF buses. The donation continues a long-standing partnership between GAF and the Golden Rain Foundation’s Transportation

The LW Pool Club recently held its second annual summer picnic. It was an unusually warm day, but there was a perfect mix of sun, great food, music, canopies and, of course, the much anticipated cornhole tournament.
