The City of Seal Beach offers a Senior Transportation Program that includes a Dial-a-Ride taxi service. Residents will need to make reservations a minimum of 24 hours in advance by calling 877-224-2894. The hours of operations are Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. To qualify, users must be Seal Beach residents ages 60 and over. To register, visit the city’s website at www.sealbeachca.gov or stop

The impact of a traffic collision at the intersection of Golden Rain Road and St. Andrews Drive catapulted a Maxima sedan into the flood channel on March 4 at about 11:18 a.m., according to Security and Seal Beach Police reports. A Dodge 4x4 traveling northbound on St. Andrews collided with the sedan, which was traveling westbound on Golden Rain Road. The sedan driver was transported to Los Alamitos
