PAWS, CLAWS AND BEAKS The Paws, Claws and Beaks Club will meet on Thursday, July 13, at noon in the Clubhouse 1 picnic area. All pet owners are welcome and leashed pets are welcome. FALW honors LW veterans at annual picnic


The Filipino Association of Leisure World (FALW) honored veterans with a picnic on July 2. The weather was perfect, clear blue skies with a cool breeze from the ocean nearby. It was a great day to celebrate the nation’s heroes. The FALW successfully hosted its annual Veterans Picnic with the financial aid of the Golden Age Foundation. The event drew hundreds of veterans and their guests.

The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) willl hold a shredding service on Tuesday, July 11, in the Clubhouse 2 parking lot from 10 a.m.-noon. In order to have the best service possible, the GAF reminds residents of the following rules: • Do not arrive earlier than 10 a.m.; no one will be there to guard bags or sensitive documents.
