The Korean Veterans Association honored all Korean veterans with a dinner on June 25 in Clubhouse 4 at 5 p.m. Over 250 veterans and their families attended. The Hui O Hula Club performed at the Korean Veterans Association's dinner to honor the veterans who attended.

FALW announces RSVPS are open for annual luau

After the success of the Filipino Association of Leisure World’s (FALW) veterans picnic on July 2, the club is now preparing for its annual luau-dinner dance that will be held on Saturday, Sept. 2, in Clubhouse 2. This special event is not one that LWers want to miss. Residents will be wowed by the special performances from the Mahana Dance Group that sway hearts and transports people to an island

GAF & RALPHS REWARDS Judie Ebert (front, left), from Mutual 9, visited the Golden Age Foundation's booth in Clubhouse 6 to sign up for the Ralphs Community Reward program. Each Wednesday, GAF Board members are in Clubhouse 6 from 9-11 a.m. to assist residents in signing up for the free program. To signup, the GAF will ask for a resident's full name, email and the phone number

LW ANNIVERSARY Harold and Marion Weinger of Mutual 14 will celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary on Friday, July 14. Harold and Marion moved to Leisure World from Detroit, Michigan, in 2000. Harold married Marion in 1954, and they have two children (their son Steve lives in Utica, Michigan, and their daughter Marsha lives in Rossmoor, California), . ve grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
