LW LIBRARY The LW Library’s final AuthorSpeak event of the year will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, inside Clubhouse 4. Stephen Witt is the author of two nonfiction books. His newest book, “The Thinking Machine,” is the story of Nvidia’s determined CEO, Jensen Huang, who defied Wall Street to push his radical vision for computing and become one of the wealthiest men alive.

New Class: Fused Glass Suncatcher


The Lapidary and Jewelry Club will offer a new fused glass class on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 9:30 a.m.-noon. in the Lapidary and Jewelry Studio. Students will learn how to make a 6-by-6 inch framed suncatcher, and students can choose from two designs. The class is taught by Mary Chavez. The $25 fee for the class includes all supplies.
