LW Cares Fund distributes first financial awards to residents


The Leisure World Cares Fund issued its first financial awards last week. The awards amount to a subsidy toward a resident’s Mutual homeowner’s fees of $200 per month for a 12-month period. Awards are made to residents who are on low fixed incomes where increases in those fees have stressed their finances and threaten their ability to remain in the community.
