On Aug. 24, a bridal shower for Judie Jacobus (center) was hosted by Dr. Shirley Naret and Maureen Ashley. Jacobus is marrying the love of her life, Dan Davis.
On Wednesday, Sept. 25, the GRF and The Salvation Army will team up to fill six trucks with items donated by Leisure World residents. The trucks will be on site from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The trucks will be located at six locations scattered throughout Leisure World: Clubhouse 1, 2 and 4, the Amphitheater, and at the corners of Fairfield and Oakmont, and St. John and Del Monte.

She will offer a presentation that merges a dynamic reading of her book “Calavera, Calavera, What do You See?” in an interactive,experience.
