GOLDEN AGE FOUNDATION The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) will hold a Salvation Army donation service on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Amphitheater parking lot from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The program, dubbed “Salvation Saturdays,” brings Salvation Army donation trucks into Leisure World every other month, providing a convenient and cost-effective way for residents to donate unwanted items.

LW LIONS CLUB The LW Lions Club’s produce box program is back on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m.-noon. For $10 cash, people can bring home a 12-pound box packed with crisp, colorful, and farmfresh fruits and vegetables. People must bring their GRF IDs to purchase. Residents are encouraged to come early, as these boxes go fast and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Dutch Club will meet on Monday, Sept. 21, in Clubhouse 3, Room 3, at 3 p.m. All residents are welcome to join the meeting.
