LW BIRTHDAY Mutual 1 resident Michael Oh Mutual One celebrated his 85th birthday in Clubhouse 4 with over 135 friends and family from all over the country. Oh moved to Leisure World 21 years ago in February 2004 as a vacation home after he retired from the Port of Oregon over 30 years ago. CPR classes to resume Sept. 27

CPR classes to resume Sept. 27


EMERGENCY INFORMATION COUNCIL The Leisure World Emergency Information Council (EIC) is offering onsite American Heart Association certified CPR and first aid classes. The next scheduled CPR class will be held Sept. 27, in Clubhouse 3, Room 3. First aid classes are scheduled to alternate with the CPR classes on Saturdays through Nov. 22. LW CERT Class


The next safety class provided by the LW Community Emergency Response Team (LW CERT) will be on Friday, Sept. 26, at 9 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. The topic for the class this month is titled “12 Ways to Get Prepared” and will teach residents how to be ready to face any emergency or disaster, taught by LW CERT President Catherine O’Brien.
