The GRF Recreation Department came through again in a big way. The first ever Harvest Festival was so much fun! The band was good.
The scavenger hunt got us all strolling through all the garden plots. They were varied and beautiful, filled with all kinds of vegetables and beautiful flowers.
There were free snacks and games, an auction—that we did not win, a canned food drive

On behalf of The Salvation Army, I would like to extend heartfelt thanks for hosting another fabulous donation drive on Oct. 11.
Thanks to the leadership of GAF President Anna Derby and the hard work of GAF volunteers, plus the generosity of the Leisure World community, the event was a tremendous success.
The drive brought in a remarkable volume of donated goods.

I just came from the Fall Festival sign-ups in Clubhouse 2. I would like to thank the GRF Recreation Department for doing this event for its members every year.
Also, a big thank you to the team from Recreation that signed us all up today. The team was efficient and kind, which is hard to be at that early hour!
