While the Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District (OCMVCD) conducts the treatments to keep mosquito populations at bay, smaller sources of water around the patio or indoor spaces can serve as mosquito breeding grounds.

GRF BOARD
On June 24, the Golden Rain Foundation Board of Directors ratified its members’ committee assignments for the coming year.
The Golden Rain Foundation operates through five standing committees, each of which studies issues within their individual purview and presents recommendations to the Board of Directors for its consideration.

Committee Schedule: MOVED to approve the standing committees serving during the 2025-2026, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Golden Rain Foundation of Seal Beach, per the distributed handout (see page 1.)
Water Protest Letter: MOVED to authorize staff to send a letter to the City of Seal Beach protesting the rate increase as proposed by the City of Seal Beach for the parcels owned by GRF. Additionally,

The purpose of the Member Services Committee is to oversee and enhance members’ engagement with GRF properties, local assistance organizations and available transportation services. The committee also oversees GRF’s wide array of recreational, entertainment and educational programs.

The self-serve car wash is located on El Dorado Drive near Clubhouse 2. The facility has four bays, hoses and vacuums and uses recycled water to conserve LW resources.
