Tickets for ‘Little Women, The Musical’ at the Carpenter Center go on sale Oct. 12

Every generation has its version of Louisa May Alcott’s timeless novel Little Women. Leisure World residents can experience the beloved story as a live musical during a Recreation Department bus trip to “Little Women, The Musical” at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Nov. 12. The musical follows Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March as they grow up, chase their dreams and discover their individual paths. With a soaring score and poignant lyrics, “Little Women, The Musical” brings the familiar characters and story to life through song, capturing the hope, love and personal sacrifice that shape the sisters’ journey.

At the heart of the musical is Jo March, an aspiring writer determined to pursue her dreams. Her ambitions, her relationships with her sisters and the support of the March family form a story that has connected with generations of readers and now takes on new life on the musical stage. Tickets are $99 per person and include admission to the performance and round-trip bus transportation from Leisure World. Tickets go on sale Monday, Oct. 12, at 8 a.m. at the Recreation Office and online at www.lwsb.com/special-events. Space is limited.
