PHOTO ARTS CLUB

The Photo Arts Club will meet Thursday, Oct. 8, at 1:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. Bring an iPhone/ Android smartphone and/ or camera.

The assignment is to photograph leaves. People should email their best three photos to Ben Benjamins at benbenjamins@hotmail.com by Oct. 5 to be included in the meeting presentation. People can also bring photos of their choice to be displayed and commented on.

A Facebook page has been created for all LW residents interested in photography. On Facebook, search for “Photographic Arts Club of Leisure World.” This is a private page. To join, hit the “join” button; LW residents will be approved. People are welcome to post their favorite photos and ask photography questions. A quick response will be provided.

People with technical or other questions will be paired with someone who can help them for individual discussion after the meeting. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call Regine Schumacher at 562-430-7078.
