The Joyful Line Dance Club will meet today, Sept. 24, at the LW Amphitheater stage, instead of Clubhouse 2, from 10 a.m.-noon, due to the new sound system installation in the Clubhouse.

The first hour of the class is for beginners to intermediate dancers. After a brief break, the second hour of the class is for more advanced dancers. This month, members are learning “Don’t Be Cruel” and “Touch by Touch” taught by Albert Comia.

The club thanks Gladys Comia, Helen Evangelista, Joy Azurin, Gina Baik, Carmel Atkinson, Sunny Kim and others who volunteer to teach or manage the classes. The club has grown to over 125 members with 75 attendees on average, all thanks to its volunteers.

People are asked to sign in with their names, Mutual and unit numbers, and be members of the club to take classes.

Annual membership is $20 and cannot be prorated. Exercise shoes are highly recommended for safety.

Club members learn new dances every month, which keeps their brains sharp and adds variety to their weekly routine.
