Bestselling author will speak Sept. 4

USA Today bestselling author Sophie Stava will speak at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, in Clubhouse 4, as part of the Leisure World Library’s AuthorSpeak series.

Stava is the author of the Good Morning America Book Club pick “Count My Lies.” The twisty domestic thriller follows compulsive liar, Sloane Caraway, as she lies her way into being the nanny for the perfect New York City couple who has everything. But Sloane isn’t the only one with secrets. What happens next keeps readers guessing until they turn the final page.

The presentation begins promptly at 11 a.m. Arrive as early as 10:30 to enjoy refreshments provided by the library and to find preferred seating. Books will be available for purchase.

The Leisure World Library offers free access to nearly 40,000 items, including books, audiobooks, movies, music, and periodicals. WiFi, computers, printers, and scanners are also available.
