Items needed for the homeless

Mutual 6 resident Susan Hopewell collects donations for the homeless including new or used clean towels, unopened shampoo, soap, lotion, disposable razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, sunscreen,women’s hygiene products, protein bars, lip balm, and new socks and underwear for men and women. No clothing will be accepted.

To donate, contact Hopewell at 562-430-6044 or Linda Neer at 562-430-3214 for pick up. People may also leave donations on their patios in Mutual 6, 62 A or Mutual 2, 48-A. Donations will be delivered to the Long Beach Multi-Service Center.
