Based in San Diego and comprised of seasoned professional musicians, Journeymen is not a typical musical tribute band—it’s a finely tuned musical experience. The group has established itself as one of Southern California’s top-sought tribute and variety cover acts, performing at elite venues and corporate events across the U.S.
Their five-piece lineup delivers the jumbo-arena energy of Journey and other classic rock icons like Foreigner, Styx, Toto and Boston—all served with high-level musicianship and authentic performance style. Every note is performed with precision, passion and authenticity that resonates with fans and casual listeners alike.
The band features Mark Murphy on lead vocals; Ryan Brewer on bass and vocals; Jason Cooper on guitar and vocals; Ken Hoelscher on keys and vocals; and Jhun Orbita on drums. Each member is a professional in his own right, bringing an impressive blend of recording credits and live performance experience that elevates every show. Together, they fuse that technical mastery with a captivating, high-energy presence, resulting in an immersive show where audiences are singing, dancing and waving their lighters in the air.
Members of Journeymen have recorded, toured and performed with Foo Fighters, Green Day, Pearl Jam, No Doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers and others, and deliver the kind of “wow” performance that leaves people talking long after the lights come up.
Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ, Koffel’s and Scooter’s Ice Cream. GRF Minibuses will circulate the community to pick up concert-goers and transport them to the Amphitheater. Everyone will be taken back to their units after the show.
