Pickleball Club members learn how to use Titan ball machine
PICKLEBALL CLUB
Leisure World Pickleball Club members now have the benefit of practice with a Titan ball machine that propels various shots in repetitive or alternating patterns to simulate an active play experience. The machine is particularly useful in allowing a player to practice repetitive motion in a controlled way. Repetition and drills make all players better.
The club received a generous donation from the Golden Age Foundation to purchase the machine. It is now available for use only after members have taken the training course, which is given a couple of times each month by Linda Evenson. People who want to learn how to use the machine should contact Evenson at 561-577-3283 to sign up. Only club members have access to the machine.
The Titan ball machine offers a variety of drills with various sequences, heights, spins, loops, and speeds. The machine has a number of pre-programmed drills; these can be amended for individual users. The machine can be adjusted to accommodate beginning players as well as senior advanced players, providing all with drills that will enhance and improve their play. Each user then can record the drills and maintain their own programs on their phones. The machine works via Bluetooth and can be programmed with either an Android or iPhone.
